an exhibitor’s booth/stall at an exhibition
I have been an exhibitor at the Annual Dog Show conducted annually by all the kennel clubs in our state, with my dog winning the best dog award for two consecutive years.
When they first started the International Industrial Expo four years ago, there were not many international exhibitors or sponsors, but gradually, over the years, this annual event has attracted so many domestic and international exhibitors and sponsors that booths and spaces are booked well in advance, a year in advance at times!
The art exhibition that was conducted last week was a disaster and the unlucky organisers had had to close the event even before they opened it, bearing all the expenses and damages, because of the unscheduled heavy storm which prevented exhibitors, sponsors and visitors from attending.

However, there are occasions where we see ‘exhibitionist’ being used for ‘exhibitor’ in a positive connotation/sense. For an article that uses ‘exhibitionist’ to mean ‘exhibitor’ (line 1; para 11) please click here.
