Eventually all the words change over the time. A ‘fag’ in British schools some time ago was a junior student who did some menial work, such as polishing shoes, etc., for a senior student, but now a fag is a homosexual student!
Johnson calls himself a fag because he’s to do the dirtiest jobs and for longer hours.
There is a general agreement among the educated and non-educated people that they want to see these two words,’fag’ and ‘faggot’, disappear from our vocabulary.
Once fags of any kind were looked down upon, but in the present social scenario, some sections of the society, such as human rights activists, hold the fags high and even fight with the authorities for their rights!
