two gold diggers getting gifts from a man
Originally a gold digger was one of those prospectors who went to a place where gold deposits were found and anybody was free to dig as much gold as they could; however, once the ‘gold rush’ was over, the name was used for those bounty hunters who go to any length to get rich quickly, even resorting to crime!
Even during the height of the ‘gold rush’ in the States and Australia, there were as many unsuccessful gold diggers as there were successful ones.
There are more and more successful dating web sites through which men can date with women and vice versa; however, studies have shown that most of the women and men dating on these sites are gold diggers who wish to try their luck at hooking up to rich partners from whom they can get gifts, money and even fame.
