a pygmy marmoset
The ‘pygmy marmoset’ is the smallest of all true monkeys in the world; it can be held in the palm of a person!
Marmosets are kept as pets, and are used in the medical research!
Marmosets live in troops, about 5 to 15 in each troop, and only one couple (breeding male and female) has babies!
Female marmosets typically give birth to twins, and the father and non-mothers also help in taking care of the babies.
