mocker:
(plural: ‘mockers‘; pronunciation: the letters ‘ck’ are said with a ‘k’ sound as in “king”)
a person who mocks;
a person who laughs at someone or something when it is wrong to do so,
John, the so called mocker, should realise that he’s no more a small child to mock at people and to relish his infamous title.
These days there are several videos on the Internet that often go viral under the name of reality shows in which mockers, mocking at the elderly and at the unwary shoppers and by-passers with their pranks and scary practical jokes, are made comedians or heroes.
Some law experts are in the opinion that mockers of any kind must be subjected to criminal prosecution and severe punishment as their mocking, though supposed to be funny, humiliates the decent people of the community.
Note 2: ‘Mocker’, always with a capital ‘M’, is often found in the names of people, e.g. Carol Mocker, Sophie Mocker, Oscar Mocker, etc.
