a person who does not go by the generally accepted ideas, believes, customs and practices in religion or other aspects of life, such as established standards of conduct;
(always with a capital ‘N’) a Christian who does not accept the established Church, especially the Church of England,
Conformists and nonconformists are two sides of the same coin — each side is bound by a set of rules of its own!
The Nonconformists are worried that the unhealthy competition among themselves will bring their death, especially the Presbyterian Church of Wales.
The main difference between conformists and nonconformists, some experts say, is that conformists try to please a lot of other people in general and nonconformists try to please a limited number of people in particular.
In Christian Church, there are Conformists and Nonconformists (or non-Conformists), and each one, even after learning that Jesus Christ wants everyone “to love thy neighbour as thyself”, blames the other for not being right.
