nursling:
(also with the spelling: ‘nurseling’; plural: ‘nurslings‘; pronunciation: the letters ‘nurs’ rhyme with its related word “nurse” — for the right pronunciation of this word, please click here)
a small baby that is being looked after by a nurse, or a baby being fed on milk either by its mother, with a feeding bottle or by a wet nurse;
any person, especially a child who may be past the age of suckling milk, who is under the care of a nurse or in some health-care centre for different reasons,
A mother with one nursling has trouble breast feeding, and we can imagine how difficult it’s for a mother with twin nurslings.
There are several health-care centres that train young mothers how to breast-feed their ever-hungry nurslings.
As there are more and more people out of jobs and in poverty, more and more children are becoming homeless, and the municipalities in several states are setting up centres to take care of those nurselings with the full support of the public.
