Though the pension sanctioned to the old age pensioners is not enough to meet all their needs, it certainly supports many of them from going hungry.
The issue of old age pension and old age pensioners is a very sensitive one for any government; on the one hand, it shouldn’t ignore the old age pensioner, but, on the other hand, it finds extremely difficult, for some governments it’s practically impossible, to provide the millions of dollars needed to support the old age pension schemes!
