outworker:
(plural: ‘outworkers‘; pronunciation: ‘out…worker’)
a person who works for some business firm or company at home, i.e. he/she does not go to the company’s office but brings in the work to home and does that work in the comfort of his home, especially when he/she has young children to look after, or these day, getting the work online,
e.g.
More and more computer educated women prefer to be outworkers — staying at home, looking after the children and earning some extra money at the same time.
As the online business grows more the demand for the outworkers grows more, too.

{Note: ‘Outwork’, on one hand, is used to refer to some factory or company work done by somebody out side or away from the factory, office or company but bears the standards and mark of that factory, office or company with the one who does that work, ‘outworker’; and, on the other hand, ‘outwork’ is used as a noun and a verb as well and has a different meaning and usage with each form: as a noun, it means ‘a smaller strong wall built out side the main strong wall of a fort, castle or palace’, and as a verb, it means ‘to work harder, better and faster’ or ‘to complete doing something’.}
