Some experts are in the opinion that a homosexual is not a sodomite as the word sodomite has never been used in the Bible for a person of unnatural sexual practices.
There are several incidents where well known politicians lost their popularity and the elections for making comments on gays and sodomites or for even calling gays sodomites.
More and more people are coming out openly declaring themselves as gays, but the orthodox religious and political leaders are condemning them for their perverted sexual practices and asking the governments to impose severe punishments on those found guilty of sodomy.
