Kristin is the best half-wit you can find in the world; knows nothing, understands nothing but tries to do anything and everything only to make matters worse for others.

The Opposition members took a serious exception to the ruling party minister’s remark that there were more than enough half-wits in the political arena in general and in the Opposition Party in particular!

Most half-wits are humorists who can make the saddest person smile with their stupidity and clumsiness.

According to some language experts, there isn’t much difference between the three ‘wits’ — dimwit, halfwit and nitwit; however, as the words suggest, a halfwit is the best of all with only ‘half’ insufficiency,  ‘dimwit, on the other hand, can be brightened with some effort and unfortunately, the ‘nitwit’ is the worst of the three with no ‘wit’ at all!
