Jays are notorious for their thieving, i.e. they steal small bright things and also eatables from the human settlements. And they are also accused of being noisy!
Jays are hated by game-keepers because they feed on the chicks and eggs of the other birds; however, on the other hand, they are helpful in a way, by feeding on the larvae, pupae and caterpillars of the insects most of which are harmful to the crops and plants!
